Lynn Coady is a Canadian novelist, journalist and TV writer, originally from Cape Breton Island, NS and now living in Toronto. Her collection of short stories Hellgoing won the 2013 Scotiabank Giller Prize. Her 2011 novel, The Antagonist, was shortlisted for the 2011 Giller Prize and published in the US by Alfred A. Knopf . She has published six books of fiction and her work has appeared in the UK, Germany, Holland and France.

Her latest novel is called Watching You Without Me, published by House of Anansi in Fall, 2019 and Knopf US in June 2020.
